So i was reading this amazing recipe in my friend Dina’s Blog of a Nectarine Sorbet
And then read about the Monthly Mingle which another blogverse friend of mine Sukaina Rajabali Was hosting on her blog Sips and Spoonsfuls
And i kinda knew that almost every entry was gonna be a dessert ! so i kinda went the OTHER WAY !!
as i usually do in life…
So Here is my recipe for the Theme Stone Fruits
Baked Chicken In Peach & Plum Sauce
Ingredients
3 plums, pitted & Chopped
2 Peaches pitted & Chopped
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup fruit & vegetable mixed juice
1 tbs chilli powder
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp onion flakes
1 tbs parsley
1tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 pieces of chicken breast
Direction
Preheat oven to 190 degree celsius
Blend the first 4 ingredients in a blender with a 1/4 cup of water! Add the chillies, parsley, onion, garlic powder and the salt and pepper and sit to simmer in a cooking pot for about 20 min, until the sauce thickens.
Pour the sauce into a deep baking dish and and dip the washed and cleaned chicken breast into it till its immersed
Bake in the over for 50 min.
Serve with rice or bread
Until The peaches peach and the plums plum !!




Yumm…Looks really cool! Ramadan kareem..Its definitely a dish I would love to make this month for Iftar!!!
